About Me In 1998, I purchased a book about making handmade soap. Soon after I received a soap making kit for a gift and began enjoying the wondrous process of soap making. I began formulating my own recipes, in the quest for a bar that would not strip skin of natural oils and would be long-lasting. All of the soap I make today is made using the cold process method, also called kettle method. My soap is made from 100% vegetable oils, including olive, palm, coconut and castor oils. Early in 2005, with the encouragement of family and friends, I began researching how to start a small business and sell my soap. In August 2005, Pixie Petals Natural Soap was officially open for business! With great excitement I am pleased to announce Pixie Petals Natural Soap is now available for purchase on the internet!
